We have been back several times since our last review, and we just love it. It's our favorite! Service is always quick, we're in and out in like 20 minutes Lol it's affordable & reasonable. We got 2 half baked rolls, 1 hand roll, and 2 special rolls for about $45 before tip. I'm full and content every time. The rolls are consistently good, I just love it. Today, I decided to try something new! I love that they offer half rolls so I can try different rolls without wasting food. My usual is an OID roll. Today, I ordered the baked 428 roll. This roll has grilled chicken spread with yum yum sauce, cream cheese eel sauce & spicy sauce. I loved it! I'm not sure what my favorite roll is anymore. If you come during a busy time, it can get crowded, BUT the staff is EFFICIENT. They know how to flip tables. Such a great team from the back of house to the front of house. Plus they are all very friendly and you get multiple goodbyes as you are leaving. I love it here!

Been coming here since this place opened. I miss the smoked salmon. Service is always good and it's still a location. Time for some new rolls though.

Highlights: lots of sushi and sashimi options, plus a great all you can eat menu. Sushi is heavier on the protein than the rice (which is not always the case for AYCE sushi). The location is smaller, brighter, and louder than their old sister restaurant Goyemon. One of our tables had great service from a younger gentleman, but our server was not very personable. He got most of the orders right and he was quick. If we needed anything, we could ask anyone and they were very sweet and helpful. Our family likes coming here for the AYCE mostly and we always leave stuffed!

The sushi is excellent grade, fresh and favorable, service is quick for AYCE and the price is one of the cheapest in town. They're not filling you up with rice, nicely done!!! Both locations are great!

Came here with my family on a Friday night around 8:30 pm and although the restaurant is pretty small they were able to accommodate our large party after about a 45 min wait. Not all of our party wanted to do AYCE so they allowed those to order Ala carte which was great. Service was excellent. I accidentally spilt my water which they were nice about and very quick to clean up. There are so many AYCE sushi places in Las Vegas so in regard to the food it's not a standout but it was good.

About a week ago (last Friday night to be exact), my family came in as a party of 12. A small restaurant, not ideally suitable for a large group, but they made it happen. My family came and of course we did have a wait, which is to be expected. Once sat, we were quickly asked if we wanted beverages... Ulysses was probably one of the best servers and all the other employees were very helpful! Needless to say, we had some great service, never really rushed and very attentive! Food was great! Quality of the fish was pretty fresh for Vegas fish! Lol (coming from Hawaii, says a lot). Golden Knights were fire! Definitely a two bite type of sushi for me... Crab meat, salmon, with cream cheese DEEEPFRIED with no rice! Sooo good! It was one of my favorite sushi rolls i've had ever!!! The only thing I wouldn't get again here is the Green Tea ice cream... but, they do offer a hand full of dessert options for the all you can eat! The mussels were a bit on the sweet side! Price range is great for all you can eat! And the service was A1!!!! Ulysses and everyone else did great for a large party! It's doable, but just be aware that it would be a wait... also, the staff was super friendly and patient even when one of our guests spilled water, they were quick to help us wipe it down! I would definitely come back for more!

A sibling restaurant to Sushihouse-Goyemon (RIP), this establishment has the same great quality sushi. Just like with Goyemon, I like this restaurant due to the fact I can enjoy their sushi roll options instead of only the nigiri. The rolls here aren't imitation crab filler rolls; the majority of them are made with actual fish. This location had a couple of unique side dishes that Goyemon didn't have like fried shrimp made with panko bread crumbs instead of the normal tempura batter. I made sure to get multiple orders of the pork belly. The service was excellent. All of my orders came out quickly and accurately. All of my specific requests were fulfilled. The recommendation to try the panko fried shrimp came from my waiter. Even though Goyemon is no longer open for business this sibling restaurant looks to be able to carry on Goyemon's legacy with the same exceptional food and service.

Summary for the busy executive: Casual all-you-can-eat sushi spot in a strip mall. Solidly good sushi, plain-Jane surroundings. Full review: Although Las Vegas is situated in the middle of the Mojave Desert, it consistently receives plaudits for having some of the best sushi in the United States. It's pretty hard to find a bad sushi restaurant in Vegas, and competition in this space is fierce. How do restaurants distinguish themselves in such an atmosphere? Offering All You Can Eat (AYCE) is one way, and Sushi-Mon has chosen to go this route. It mostly succeeds; if your goal is good food served quickly, then this could be a spot that pleases you. If you're looking for elegant atmosphere or beautiful presentation, then you might seek elsewhere. I went for AYCE lunch, which is a few dollars cheaper than the supper option. For two of us, the bill came out to just over $70, with one soft drink and about twice as much food as we should have eaten. It was good enough that it was difficult to stop ordering! The location and atmosphere of this little restaurant are both on the plain side. It's located in a shopping center with a grocery store and retail outlets. The location is safe, and there is plenty of parking, but you're not going to take a nice stroll or window shop after a meal. The locale is strictly utilitarian. The inside of the restaurant sort of reflects the outside, too. A sushi bar, some tables, and not a lot of fancy decor. If you're here for the sushi, then it really doesn't matter; everything is clean and pleasant, and the wait staff was very nice, attentive, fast, and professional. So I wouldn't necessarily recommend coming here for date night or to impress a client, but it's a solid place to have supper with your family or a good casual lunch option if you want to load up on sushi. All of the sushi was fresh and tasty. This AYCE menu allows you to order almost everything for one set price. There are a few premium options that either limit the amount that you can order or that require supper pricing even at lunch. Since the general options are so varied, we just skipped those special items and ordered dishes that were included in the AYCE lunch price. There are plenty of standard nigiri and roll options, a large number of specialty "house" rolls, and a fair selection of non-fish options. Soups, appetizers, salads, and desserts are included. Sushi-mon really shines with the most simple, basic options. The fish is high quality, and the rice is perfect. For my tastes, the specialty rolls were a bit disappointing: spicy levels were either too much or too little, mayonnaise-based sauces were plain, and nothing was particularly visually stunning. But that's not too harsh of a criticism; were I to return, I would just order plain, straightforward nigiri and roll options, and I would enjoy every bite. The fresh fish really shines without too much doctoring. The teriyaki chicken was an absolute marvel --- I inhaled it! A scoop of plain strawberry ice cream was a nice way to finish the meal. Will we return? If we're nearby and want AYCE, sure. I wouldn't drive across town to come here, but I also wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to somebody who wants good, solid, tasty sushi at a reasonable price for AYCE.
